About

A multidisciplinary designer, Oren Karev graduated from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London in 2019, to become a registered Architect with the ARB and a Chartered Member of the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) upon completing his qualifications in 2021 at the AA.

He has lived and worked in the USA, Japan, Australia, Israel and the UK. Oren finds his perception of the world is constantly expanding through discourse, architectural analysis and continual critique of the build environment and the construction process.

His work has been driven from the importance of reconnection between ourselves, our families, our neighbourhoods and our cities. His work deals with issues negating the isolation and separation that contemporary society has imposed on our lives. Utilising aesthetics and architecture to popularise information and reach beyond the field of design. He has worked on cultural buildings, medium density housing single family homes, hospitality projects, educational institutions and national infrastructural projects, constantly working towards the connection we share as individuals within the shared experience of the city.

Air & Oil Motorcycle Co.

During 2016-17, Oren Karev co-founded motorcycle company, Air & Oil Motor Co. (under Product Design) Driven towards empowering women around to the world to take up motorcycling, the organisation held two parts, The community and the design. Through interaction and community driven events and networks, Air & Oil reached out to custom builders and sought out international events, while Oren headed up the companies custom motorbike design side. The dual aspect gave the company the ability to connect on a social and technical scale while encouraging a hands-on mentality that is united in his architectural overview aswell.
